Abdel, the Sudanese poet in Paris

Abdelmoniem Rahma is a Sudanese born poet and journalist now living in Paris. He received asylum because of his political commitment in Sudan, which sent him to jail in his home country, with the risk of death penalty. Later, he managed to escape to Ethiopia, but then again he was imprisoned. He tells us how he got out of that situation, thanks to the help of his wife, a German friend, and the criminals he was sharing the cell with.
