What I learned by discussing with Muslims in France

“My mother thought I was spending time with terrorists”, tells us Wei, a Taiwanese artist who spent some time in Marseille, France, where she had a chance to talk with people she would have never met in Taiwan.

“In Taiwan very few people know about international politics, and we never get to meet Arabs or Northern Africans”, Wei explains, “we had conflicts, cultural shock, but eventually I got to learn about new lifestyles and ways of thinking”.
